So today is the day that my mom was moved off my couch and into assisted living. It was a really hard day but it is what it is. I went and dropped her off earlier so she could get settled in and I went and got her some things that she needed, picked up Alice and then went back and had dinner with her which was nice. When I left this evening my mom bawled her eyes out saying how scared she was but she was also trying to reasure me that she would be fine. I called her this evening to make sure everything was going good and she sounded much happier which was good to hear. I then let her know that I would be out tomorow to see her.
I am hoping that maybe tomorow we can do lunch somewhere and visit. I am excited to help her decorate her new place and make it homey.
